Art Tuition at ‘The Studio’
‘The Studio’ at East End Green lies in two and a half acres of garden and field, just outside Brightlingsea town itself. The field gently slopes down to a grass sea wall which borders Brightlingsea creek, affording views across the saltings towards St Osyth Creek. This location not only provides a tranquil haven but is also suitable for outdoor painting for students.
The studio is situated on two floors, giving six or seven students ample space. Classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays and last for approximately three and a half hours. Subjects taught are drawing, oil or acrylic painting and water colours. Beginners or more advanced students are welcome. Occasional weekend or short summer school courses take place as arranged. There is ample off street parking and a half hourly bus service to and from Colchester and Wivenhoe. The bus stops about 6 minutes walk away at Hurst Green.
